Hello Again,
I am so sad to have to write to you letting you know that the ballet school will not be able to open for the remainder of this school year. The Rockdale County Schools have written informing me that all events have been cancelled so we have no venue for the recital performance. As Governor Kemp has closed the schools for the remainder of the year and has asked all Georgians to “shelter in place,” we are compelled to follow suit.
Miss Hallie and I are in hopes that you will be able let us roll your recital fees and paid ahead tuition over into next year. If this action is not possible for you, just call the school and talk to me (Miss Judy) about a refund. Please rest assured we will do our very best to refund your money as quickly as possible. However, we will be waiting on refunds from the school system, etc. Unfortunately, the costumes are bought and are not returnable. I will label each one with your student’s name and will have them ready for distribution when we are allowed to come together once more. Due to my health issues, I am quarantined and so I cannot mail them to you.
This is a time of great uncertainty globally. Please know we do not take these measures without a great deal of thought. We hope all of you are well and are able to stay safe.
